Musikal Geenyous

Hurray! The internet's not broken anymore!! For awhile there I was feeling very deprived of talking to people on AIM and writing in this spiffy thing. The first one more so than the second.

Not much has changed, though, since my last entry. I went horseback riding and read a lot and laid around a bit but that's about it.

Sorry this is really short, I'm just kinda tired and don't feel like writing too much.

Woohoo, it was good to be with the drumline again. We went over to Towne Lake and played a bunch of cadences which were pretty spiffy. I kinda messed up, but that's okay because they sounded good anyways. I've got a whole lot of stuff to practice now because I have a cadence packet, opener music, and drumset stuff to work on. I want to memorize the cadences first because that's kinda more important, with the march-a-thon coming up and all. I only have $40 raised.. lol.

Besides that, I'm really excited about tomorrow because of the DCI show!!! Woohoo!! I actually had a dream about it last night but it was really weird. And for some reason Robby in the dream kept trying to convince me to hook up with some other guy. My dreams are strange...

*Yawn* I'm tired... and sunburned. I went to NRH20 today and even though I put on sunscreen twice while I was there somehow my back my shoulders got singed. Ouch. And I have to go to a pool party tomorrow so I better be careful or my skin is going to shrivel away. That would suck.

I have a drumline sectional in two days. Arg. I haven't really practiced at all (whoops). Sorry Louis.

Ethereal Darkness -- instrumental and computer-ized... I haven't listened to everything yet but so far the songs are totally awesome
Jon Schmidt -- piano music... ahhhh, so relaxing... I could fall asleep to this
SDZ -- OMG I never thought I would hear a ska version of "Hotel California". I think it rocks!! But there's nothing like horns playing rock songs to make a band geek happy.

Ah, I'm still tired from yesterday. Grrrr to screaming kids. I had to watch two of them for the majority of the afternoon and they were so incredibly tiring. One of them was actually pretty well-behaved but the other, younger one was like a sleep-deprived freshman on speed. I'm so glad I don't actually live in that house- I'd go insane after a week.

On the brighter side of things, I got to make a quick trip to Hot Topic. I got a spiffy wallet cause I've been needing one, and a pack of those bracelets that you give to guys and hope whoever it is doesn't break it (or hope they do, depending on the situation).
